Jeremy Cody, a 6’8 senior forward for the Golden Bears basketball team has been named the MilesGoldenBears.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, January 9, It’s the second honor of the season for Cody and the third for the Miles men’s basketball team.

The Hoover native led the Golden Bears (4-5; 2-5) to a 60-56 victory over conference foe Morehouse College (1-6) in last night basketball game. Cody led the Golden Bears with a team-high 13 points and game-high 10 rebounds and two blocked shots.

Cody is first in the SIAC and fourth in the NCAA in blocked shots and 10th in the SIAC in rebounding and 3rd in defensive rebounding.
