RAHIM BARNES, a 5’9 senior point guard for the Golden Bears basketball team has been named the MilesGoldenBears.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, February 5, It’s the first honor of the season for Barnes and the 6th for the Miles men’s basketball team.
The Tuscaloosa, AL native averaged for the Golden Bears (7-12; 5-12) averaged 21.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, four assist and 2.3 steals in the last three games.
In the SIAC, Barnes is ranked 13th in scoring, 9th in steals and 14th in 3-point field goals made.
In the NCAA, Barnes is ranked 339 out of 500 in points per game, 262 in free throw percentage, 429 in field goal percentage and 100 steals per game.
