TIFFANY ROBERTS, a 5’8 sophomore for the Lady Bears softball team has been named the MilesGoldenBears.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 10, 2011. It’s the 1ST honor of the season for Roberts and the 3RD for the Miles women’s softball team.
The Prattville, AL native led the Lady Bears (18-22; 12-6) by recorded 12 hits, three homeruns, a triple, and a double while batting .461 and a .923 slugging percentage. The 5-8 sophomore had 10 RBI’s and scored 13 runs while going 14-for-14 in stolen bases. She helped lead the Lady Bears to a 6-2 record with two wins apiece against Tuskegee University, Spelman College, and Division I Alabama A & M University.
Tiffany is tied for homeruns with her sister Terri with 10 on the season, with a .406 batting average. Tiffany is ranked second on the team in RBI’s with 38 and has stolen 29-of-32 bases.
