SAMMEIKA THOMAS, is a 6-2, senior forward for the Lady Bears basketball team has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week in week #3.. It’s the first honor of the season for Thomas and the first for the Miles women’s basketball team.

The Birmingham, AL native averaged 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in three games for Miles College this past week. Defensively, Thomas averaged two blocks and a steal while leading the Lady Bears to a pair of wins over the University of West Alabama.
