KENNETH HATFIELD, a 5’10 senior infielder for the Golden Bears baseball team has been named the MilesGoldenBears.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 3, It’s the 1st honor of the season for Hatfield and the 2nd for the Miles men’s baseball team.
The Pleasant Grove, AL native went 8-for-11 from the plate, with two home runs, eight RBI’s, scored six times, two stolen bases and four walks. Hatfield had a .727 batting average for the week. Hatfield helped the Golden Bears to a 3-0 sweep of the Panthers of Clark Atlanta University. The wins improves the Golden Bears record to 18-10; 6-0 in the SIAC and a 6-0 conference record over the SIAC East Teams.
