Monterio Taylor is a 6-1, 287, offensive lineman, senior on the Golden Bears football team. Taylor was named Offensive Lineman of the Week in week eight for game played on October 20, 2012. It’s the first honor of the season for Taylor and the 8th for the Miles football team.
The Lawrence County, MS, native led #18 ranked Golden Bears offensive line to 505-yards of total offense, while holding down the left guard position. Taylor graded out at98% in the 38-20 victory over Lane College, as they allowed the Golden Bears offense to rush for 412-yards and pass for another 93-yards.
Miles overall record is 7-1 and 5-0 in SIAC play, as the Golden Bears prepare for Thursday, October 25 game in Fairfield, AL with Stillman College (4-4; 3-2) at 6 p.m.
