Taccara Charles, a 5’8 junior guard for the Lady Bears basketball team has been named the MilesGoldenBears.com Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, December 12. It’s the first honor of the season for Charles and the first for the Miles women’s basketball team.

The Childersburg, AL native led the Lady Bears (2-3;0-3) to a 57-43 victory over Concordia-Selma College (0-5) in last week’s basketball game in Selma, AL by leading the Lady Bears in scoring with a game-high 15 points, four rebounds, four assist and three steals.
