Kayla Trawick helped open a 13-point advantage late before securing the set. Miles trailed by two points early in the second set before scoring eight straight to take control. The Lady Bears finished the middle set nicely, getting consecutive kills from Copeland,
Addisyn Doss and
Kandace Griffin to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
It was more of the same in the final set.
Kiersten Hight had two kills,
Zion Rucker had three of her six aces and Lloyd added another ace as Miles opened a 9-3 advantage. Consecutive errors by the Lady Bears slowed the momentum and cut their lead to 17-9, but Rucker served out the set, adding tow more aces and a kill while Trawick slammed home a winner off a Lloyd feed to close out the match.
