CARROLLTON, Ga. -- West Georgia scored six runs in the first inning before coasting to a 14-2 win over Miles Tuesday afternoon at Cole Field.

Jacob Bisharat hit his fifth home run of the season in the sixth to tie Brandon Conner for the team lead. Ryne Benson also drove in a run in the fifth. Peyton Logan had two of the Golden Bears' five hits.

Tyler Hastings (0-2) got the start for Miles (19-18) but lasted just an inning. A two-run single by Brian Dansereau and a two-run homer by Brady Barnes helped the Wolves (22-19) get all the cushion they would need.

Miles is back in action on Friday when they play Tuskegee in a doubleheader at Paterson Field in Montgomery. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
