Moye, Golden Bears win Dortch Hall of Fame Tournament

ATLANTA -- Three Golden Bears finished among the top-5 and a scintillating performance from Braydon Moye helped Miles come from behind to win the 40th Thomas Dortch, Jr. Hall of Fame Tournament at the Stonewall Jackson Golf Course on Tuesday.

Moye shot a 1-under 70 on the final day of the tournament and the Golden Bears were 6-over as a team to erase a five-stroke deficit after Round 1. Moye (-1, 141) had nine straight pars on the back nine but got a little help from Morehouse's Izaiah Stewart to win the individual crown. Stewart, who shot a 2-under 69 in the final round, bogeyed 17 and 18 to give Moye the one-stroke win.

The Golden Bears got other great individual performances from George Aguilera (+4, 176, t-3rd) and Adrian Raya (+5, 147, 5th), who also shot a 1-under 70 in the final round. Jeremy Bianchi, playing as an individual, shot 6-over 148 to finish tied for sixth. Jerris Baker (+10, 152, 9th) and Malachi Greene (+15, 157, t-13th) rounded out the Miles contingent.

The Golden Bears close out fall competition at the SAS HBCU Invitational beginning Oct. 12.
