Alvin Miles big offseason 2025

Postseason honors pile up for star guard

Golden Bears senior Alvin Miles saw his season come to a premature end but the star guard has had a big offseason haul of awards and honors that matched his large stature on the court.

Today, Miles was named Second Team All-South District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The teams were chosen by the vote of NABC-member coaches across Division II. He also was named Second Team All-South Region by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association, whose teams are selected by vote of the sports information directors in the South Region, which is made up of schools in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Gulf South Conference, and the Sunshine State Conference.

For the second consecutive season, Miles was named an First Team Division II All-American by BoxToRow, which has named an All-American team for 16 years. Miles joins Jelani Watson-Gayle as a two-time honoree with the Golden Bears but he is the first to earn two First Team selections. To cap off a big postseason, Miles was chosen to participate in the Fourth HBCU All-Star Game on Apr. 6 in San Antonio, Texas.
