Miles golfer Braydon Moye was announced today as the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Golfer of the Month for September.

Moye, a junior from Niceville, Fla., had a standout month for the Golden Bears, winning the 40th Thomas Dortch, Jr. Invitational and placing sixth at the Full Moon Invitational. He was the top performer for Miles, shooting four of his five rounds at even par or better, including a 70-71-141, 1-under to win the Dortch Invitational, which featured five HBCU teams - three from the SIAC. Moye shot 70-71-77-218, 5-over at the Full Moon Invitational, one of the more competitive Division II fields in the region.

The Golden Bears have one more competition this fall, competing in the SAS Championship HBCU Invitation beginning Oct. 11 in Cary, N.C.
