The SIAC conference office announced that Iemyiah Harris (Anniston, AL) was chosen as the SIAC Preseason Player of the Year. Harris helped lead the Lady Bears to the SIAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Game.  Harris averaged 15.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.  Harris ranks as the top returning scorer in the conference and second in steals among all returnees.  

The Lady Bears will open the 2023-24 campaign on November 10th on the road against Columbus State University.
