#6 Mason Davis tag out Kentucky State player
MILES GOLDEN BEARS ELIMINATE KENTUCKY STATE FROM SIAC TOURNAMENT
Box Score OZARK, AL – In an elimination game, the Miles College Golden Bears (24-17) sent Kentucky State University home packing with a 10-2 victory in the third round of the SIAC Baseball Championships on Saturday morning in Ozark.
Justin Langdale and
Kelend Smith led the Golden Bears with two RBI's apiece and
Courtney Kelley crossing the plate three times. Smith had three hit for the Golden Bears, while Langdale, Jousha Grooms, and Kelley all had two hits.
Jeffery Jones (2-0) went the distance for the win while allowing two earned runs on six hits and six strikeouts.
The Golden Bears will play in their second elimination game of the day at 6 p.m., as they play the Lions of Paine College.
