MILES GOLDEN BEARS DEFEAT LEMOYNE-OWEN 3-1
Box Score FAIRFIELD, AL – The Miles College (9-5; 3-0) baseball team wins game three from LeMoyne-Owen College (0-14) 3-1 Sunday afternoon at Rickwood Field in Birmingham.
Justin Bartley threw a complete game giving up one unearned run off three hits, while striking out eight batters. William Sykes (0-3) got the loss for LOC with three runs given up on four hits.

Courtney Kelley drove in one run apices for Miles scores, while
Jeffery Jones went 2-for-3.
Miles scored two of its runs in the second inning and one run in the seventh, while LOC got it's only run in the second inning.
The Golden Bears will host the University of Alabama Huntsville in a single game at Rickwood Field on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
