Devonta Parker-Johnson is a 5-9, 174, sophomore, running back on the Golden Bears football team. Parker-Johnson was named SIAC Offensive Player of the Week in week eight for game played on October 20, 2012. It’s the first honor of the season for Parker-Johnson and the 6th for the Miles football team.
The Millry, AL, native led #18 ranked Miles College with 193-yards on 17 carries in rushing and one touchdown as the Golden Bears rushed for 412-yards in a 38-20 win over Lane College.
Miles overall record is 7-1 and 5-0 in SIAC play, as the Golden Bears prepare for Thursday, October 25 game in Fairfield, AL with Stillman College (4-4; 3-2) at 6 p.m.
