#ERIC LIPKIN#, is a 6-1, 205, senior guard for the Golden Bears basketball team have been named SIAC Men’s Basketball Newcomer of the Week during week #5. It is the first honor of the season for Lipkin and the second for the Miles basketball team.
Lipkin, a native of Birmingham, AL, averaged 15.3 points and 6.8 assists in four games this past week. He grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game while averaging one steal per contest to help lead the Golden Bears to wins over Fort Valley State and Albany State. The North West Community College transfer is currently the top assist man in the SIAC at 5.9 per game while also ranking fourth in the conference in scoring at 16.6 points per game.
