MICHAEL JOHNSON TOPS IN SIAC 2010 FOOTBALL ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM WITH 3.878 GPA

ATLANTA, GA – Congratulation to student-athlete Michael Johnson and four other Golden Bear football players for being selected to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 2010 Football Academic All-Conference Team. Johnson led all SIAC student-athletes with a 3.878 grade point average and Brandon Johnson second with a 3.875 grade point average.

Michael Johnson played in 11 games for the Golden Bears this season with 19 tackles, one tackle-for loss, two interceptions and five pass break-ups. Brandon Johnson participated in 10 games with one reception and two kick return.

Lane College leads all schools with seven selections followed by Fort Valley State University and Morehouse College with six and Miles College with five selections
