Chadwick Griffin

Chadwick Griffin joined Miles College’s strength and conditioning staff in August of 2018.

He is the head strength coach for the Olympic sports and he assists with football. Prior to his time with Miles College, he worked at Alabama State University as the strength and conditioning coach for track and field, tennis and golf teams. While working at ASU Griffin assisted his teams to six SWAC Conference titles. He served as a strength and conditioning intern at Auburn University with their men’s basketball team during the 2015-2016 season.

He also worked as a strength and conditioning graduate intern at Troy University during the year of 2015. During his time at Troy University he assisted in coaching volleyball, men’s basketball and tennis teams. He also worked as a strength and conditioning graduate intern at Huntingdon College in 2014 for the baseball and football teams.

Griffin is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. He is certified by the National Association of Speed and Explosion as a level II Certified Speed Specialist and he is AED and CPR Certified through the American Red Cross.

He graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Science in 2011, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2013. He received his Masters in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy University in 2015.

Originally from Samson, Ala., Griffin is married to Lashanda Griffin.
