Biography

2017: Hardy put together one of the best seasons in the history of Golden Bears football. He rushed forĀ 1,197 and 12 touchdowns en route to SIAC Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player awards. He finished 12th in Division II in rushing yards per game (119.7), 15th in yards per carry (6.69) and 20th in rushing yards and was selected to the Don HansenĀ All-Super Two Region First Team. He added seven catches for 94 yards aĀ a touchdown as he led the SIACĀ in scoring.

Hardy had six 100-yard games and four games with more than 165 yards. His best game came in a come-from-behind win at Central State. The last three times he touched the football, he ran for touchdowns to cap a 210-yard performance. Hardy had eight plays of more than 50 yards and three touchdowns runs of longer than 80 yards, including an SIAC-long 86-yard touchdown run against Clark Atlanta. He was

2015:Ā As a freshman, Hardy served as one of the top reserve running backs for the Golden Bears en route to a SIAC Championship. He played in 11 games (one start) and rushed for 245 yards on 61 carries - both second among running backs and third on the team. He was the leading rusher in three games, including a season-high 83 yards on 19 carries in a loss against West Alabama.

Personal: Son of Cassandra Hardy...a Business Administration major, he wants to become an accountant. Won a Class 5A state football championship at Homewood High...His favorite movie is I Am Legend, starring his favorite movie star, Will Smith.
