2017: Cambridge started the final five games of the season, winning the first four of them. He led the Golden Bears in passing yards (645 yards, six touchdowns) and was second in rushing yards (161 yards, two touchdowns). In his first start, the threw for 212 yards and a touchdown in a win over Central State as he was named SIAC Newcomer of the Week.
