Tommie Lewis, Jr. is in his fourth season at Miles and will serve as the Defensive Run Game Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator. He previously served as the Defensive Ends and Defensive Line coach.
Lewis was a defensive graduate assistant at Southern Miss in 2017. Prior to his work in Conference USA, he spent two years at his alma mater, Alcorn State, first serving as a defensive line graduate assistant in 2015 as the Braves won the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship. In 2016, he took over coaching duties at outside linebacker and handling football operations.
The Birmingham, Alabama native starred at A.H. Parker High before moving over to Alcorn State, where he played three seasons.
