Robert Lee is in his second season as a full-time assistant coach, working with the defensive line. Lee also head's the program's player development branch.

Prior to his ascension to full-time status, Lee spent five seasons as a student coach, working in an assortment of capacities for the Golden Bears. He has worked for two teams that have won SIAC titles. Lee is a graduate of Miles College.
