Greg Green is in his first season as special teams coach for the Golden Bears. He comes to Miles from UAB, where he served as the Coordinator of Football Academics and Student Support Services.
Prior to coming to UAB, Green was an Academic Counselor, Judicial Affairs Coordinator, and Football/Head Tennis Coach over 23 years, at the following Universities: Alabama State, Texas Southern, Kentucky State, Tuskegee, Savannah State, Winona State, and his High school John Marshall in Cleveland, Ohio. Green also has 15 championship rings as a player and coach.
Green is a graduate of Winona State University where he earned his bachelors' degree in dual study of Psychology and Kinesiology. He earned his Master's in Physical Education from Ashwood University. He is married (Jacquelyn) and has four children, Kira, Kesha, Jazmine, and Gregory, Jr.
