Miles defeated Talladega in four sets (25-23, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23) on Wednesday night at the Fairfield High Gymnasium. The Lady Bears (5-3) snapped a two-match losing streak and are now 3-0 at home in 2026.
The Lady Bears got big performances from
Karea Copeland (17-7-45, eight digs, two services aces, two blocks) and
Destinee Evans (10 kills, .300, four blocks - one solo).
Alyzia Cola had a double-double (28 assists, 11 digs, five kills, two aces) and
Bailey Jones had a match-high 28 digs.
Addisyn Doss also added five kills, six digs and four blocks.
Miles is back in action on Friday when they begin the SIAC Roundup at Albany State with matches against Allen and Benedict.
