His 2.3 blocks per game are second in the league and top-25 in Division II, including a season-high seven rejections on Dec. 2 at Morehouse. He had a season-high 15 rebounds against Kentucky State on Jan. 2 and had four other games with 14 rebounds.

Williams, from Detroit, Mich., is Miles' second-leading scorer (12.2) and top 3-point shooting threat (42 3-pointers on 35 percent shooting). His 3.0 assists per game tops the Golden Bears and is ninth in the SIAC. He has started every game of his inaugural campaign and has scored in double figures in 20 of his 26 games, with a season-high 20 points in a big overtime win at Tuskegee on Feb. 14.
