CALERA, Ala. -- Coming off a season-opening win, the Miles golf team did well at the Full Moon Invitational in finishing in fourth place after shooting three sub-300 rounds to finish with 882 at the Timberline Golf Course.
Three golfers finished among the top-15, with Braydon Moye topping the list in sixth place with a 5-over 218. He was at 1-under through two rounds but struggled to a 6-over 77 over the final 18 holes.
Malachi Greene was similarly solid, finishing tied for 7th at 6-over 219. He was at 2-over entering the final round but shot 4-over 75 in the final round.
Adrian Raya, who won at the Bridgestone last week, came on strong in the final round, carding a 1-over 72 in the final round. He was just 3-over over the final two rounds and finished 13th at +8, 221.
Jerris Baker (+11, 224) was tied for 18th while
Caleb Hobbs (+26, 239, 37th) rounded out the competitors for the Golden Bears.
Miles is back in action beginning Sept. 22 when it competes in the Dortch HBCU Classic in Atlanta.
