Miles guard
Iemyiah Harris was chosen to participate in the inaugural women's basketball HBCU All-Star Game on Apr. 6 at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. It will be played in conjunction with the men's contest during Final Four weekend with tip-off slated for 11 a.m.
The HBCU All-Star games feature the best college seniors in the nation and Harris was one of 24 of the nation's top HBCU basketball players from the SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, SIAC, as well as Tennessee State, Hampton, and North Carolina A&T State Universities. She capped an outstanding career with the Lady Bears by earning Most Valuable Player honors at the SIAC Tournament, which Miles won for the second consecutive season. She scored more than 1,000 points, was named All-SIAC - and made the SIAC All-Tournament Team - in all three of her seasons. She also earned All-Region and All-America honors during her junior campaign.
