Miles remained perfect at home by winning a five-set thriller over Stillman (23-25, 27-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-13)Â Tuesday night at Knox-Windham Gymnasium. The Lady Bears (9-8) are now 4-0 at home and have won three straight matches while earning a season sweep of the Tigers (2-11).

But after dropping the opening set, the Lady Bears were able to battle past two set points to even the match, then erased an 8-1 deficit to start the third set to take a 2-1 lead. But the Tigers opened an 11-1 lead in the fourth set that Miles was unable to overcome to force a fifth-set tiebreaker.

Jaida Lloyd's ace was sandwiched by two kills by
Kayla Trawick to put the Lady Bears ahead 8-7 as the teams switched sides. A kill by
Kiersten Hight (eight kills, seven blocks) pushed the Miles advantage to 13-10 and it looked like the Lady Bears were set to finish the Tigers. But Ava Cameronhad two kills sandwiched around a Katelyn Lawson ace and the teams were knotted again.
But Hight and
Kori Brown (nine kills) got a big block to set up match point before
