Jonesboro, GA | The Lady Bears (13-14, 10-9 SIAC) enters the SIAC Conference Tournament Championships as the #2 seed from the Western Division. They will face the Panthers from Clark-Atlanta (20-9, 14-5), who enters as the #3 seed from the Eastern Division.

In this season's matchup, Clark-Atlanta won 3-1 (20-25, 25-14, 19-25, 17-25).  Mya Broom had a match high 13 kills, followed by Laila Esters and Kayla Johnson with eight.  Malena Catala had three aces.  Esters and Johnson led the front row with three blocks.  Catala guided the team with 27 assists. Kayla Trawick and Chaiza Jones led the team defensively with 16 and 12 digs, respectively.

The Lady Bears own the advantage in hitting percentage for the season with the Lady Bears hitting at .179 and the Panthers hitting at .170.  Clark-Atlanta averages 10.42 assists per set, compared to 9.57 for the Lady Bears.  Clark-Atlanta is averaging 11.4 kills per set, while Miles is averaging 10.8 kills per set. The Lady Bears average 15.6 digs per set, compared to Clark-Atlanta at 12.6 digs per set.

The Lady Bears, Anya Creecy ranks in the top 10 in the conference with assists.  Other top performers include Malen Catala with aces and Chaiza Jones with digs.

The Lady Bears will play Thursday at 3:00 p.m. CST at the Tsunami Center in Jonesboro, GA.  The championship games is scheduled for Friday at 6:00 p.m. CST
