Miles dominated Rust for the second time this season, taking a straight-set victory (25-15, 25-5, 25-18) Tuesday afternoon at Knox-Windham Gymnasium. The victory gives the Lady' Bears a 14-6 record and continues the trek towards the best season in program history, moving to within two wins of the program's single-season mark.

The Lady Bears hit a remarkable .430 during the match while holding the Bearcats to .081, including a second set where Rust had 11 errors in 23 attempts for a -.348. Kiera Washington hit .552 with 18 kills and 14 digs, Chaiza Jones had a team-high 17 digs, and Alexandrea Wright had 10 kills and hit .533. Anya Creecy had 34 assists, Tamella Taylor had six kills and hit .385, while Zykellia Blount had four kills and three solo blocks.

Miles will participate in the SIAC West Cluster this weekend with matches against Kentucky State, Lane and Central State.
