The Lady Bears held a five-run lead after batting in the fifth inning but the Lady Blue Tigers scored six times in the bottom of the frame to take the lead for good.

Miles erased an early 2-1 deficit with a three-run fourth. The lead grew to 7-2 when DeOnia Gibby (2-for-3, double, walk), in just her third collegiate at-bat, belted a 3-run homer to straight away center. But in the next half-inning, things fell apart for the Lady Bears.
