WILBERFORCE, Ohio -- With a 10-point lead over Central State and 13 minutes left, Miles looked like it was headed towards its first SIAC road win this season.

But much like the weather outside, the Golden Bears shooting went ice cold. Miles went 13 minutes with just one field goal and the Marauders took advantage in a 53-49 win Saturday afternoon at Beacom/Lewis Gymnasium. The loss keeps the Golden Bears (0-14, 0-3 SIAC) winless while CSU (6-10, 3-6) snaps a seven-game losing streak.

Frank Barber III scored a game-high 13 points for Central State. Carl Garcia (nine points, eight rebounds) and Josh Johnson (nine points, six rebounds, two assists) led the Golden Bears, who play at Kentucky State Monday at 6:30 p.m.
