LADY BEARS DROP TWO GAMES IN KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY VOLLEYBALL CLUSTER
FRANKFORT, KY - The Miles College Lady Bears volleyball team opened another round of conference play on Thursday, September in the Kentucky State University Volleyball Cluster in Frankfort, KY., as they played Fort Valley State University at 12 p.m. and Claflin University at 2 p.m.
Miles were defeated 0-3 ( 25-7, 25-21, 25-12) in game one by the Lady Wildcats, while
Sammeika Thomas led the Lady Bears with two kills, three digs and two blocks.
Game two, the Lady Bears dropped a 0-3 game to Claflin University (25-7, 25-12, 25-10), as
Queen Mitchell and
Tiffany Stephens had four kills each and
Sammeika Thomas finished with two digs and five blocks.
Miles will play three games on Friday, September 21 starting with Paine College at 8 a.m., Benedict College at 2 p.m. and Albany State University at 8 p.m.
