MILES VOLLEYBALL TEAM DROP TWO GAMES IN OPENER
TUSCALOOSA, AL - The Miles College Lady Bears Volleyball team opens the 2012 season in Tuscaloosa, AL as they participated in the Stillman College Lady Tigers Volleyball Classic.
Miles (0-1) dropped game one to Tougaloo College (1-0) (6-25, 10-25, 12-25), as
Shauntasha Toombs had two services aces, Haley Pledger four digs and
Tiffany Stephens with two kills.
In game two, the Lady Bears (0-2) went down in four sets to Rust College (12-25, 26-24, 31-33, 18-25).
Tiffany Stephens led the team with 11 kills, four services aces and three kills and
Shauntasha Toombs had eight services aces, four digs and two kills.
