Box Score 2 FAIRFIELD, AL – The Miles College Lady Bears (14-17; 12-4) softball team knocked off the SIAC Western Division leader Stillman College (21-8; 14-2) in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon 6-3 and 6-0 in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The Lady Bears took the lead in game one on
Tiffany Roberts back as she crossed the plate three times, drove in three RBI's and homered, while going 2-for-4.
Katie Haisten went 2-for-3 and scored a batter and
Terri Roberts scored twice.
Bailey Broughton drove in two runs while collecting two hits for Stillman.
Kayla Bowmaster (7-4) went the distance for the win as she allowed three earned runs and eight hits. Ashley Savage (11-3) picked up the loss for Stillman while giving up six runs and six hits.
