LEWIS RUSHES GOLDEN BEARS TO VICTORY OVER CONCORDIA-SELMA

Reginald Ruffin picked up his first win as a college head coach as the Golden Bears (1-1) defeated the Honest of Concordia-Selma College (0-2) on Saturday at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
Junior running back
Jordan Lewis led the way with 142 yards and a touchdown and sophomore kicker
Patton Chambers added two field goals.
Lewis put the Golden Bears on the scoreboard first with a 7-yard touchdown run with 0.33 remaining in the first quarter.
Chambers extended the lead to 10-0 on a 25 yard field goal with 2:56 to play in the second quarter and added a 24-yarder with 8:10 remaining in the third quarter.
Miles rushed for 233 yards and 264 total yards of offense.

Corey Robinson led the Golden Bears defense with 15 tackles, one sack for a loss of six yards, five tackle-for-losses and one forced fumble. Senior defensive backs

Rashad Reynolds had five tackles apice.
