FAIRFIELD, AL – The Miles College family mourn the death of former Golden Bear football player Maurice Snow. Snow died in Dallas, TX as he was training for a tryout with the Dallas Cowboys and three other teams.

Snow a 6-foot-3, 230 pound defensive end from Haines City, FL was a three year starter and team leader for the Golden Bears from 2008-2010, after transferring from Edward Waters College.

“He was a great all-around student-athlete and loved helping others and would be the first to volunteer in mentoring programs.” said Larry Williams, running backs and special teams coach. Even playing through injuries, he was always giving 110 percent. He never asked to be taken out of a game.”

Snow finished his career at Miles with 56 tackles, 11 tackle-for-losses (62 yards), 7 sacks (45 yards), one interception, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
