RICHBURG NAMED SIAC NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
ATLANTA, GA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announces its top performers for week seven of the 2011 football season.
Miles College Golden Bears defensive back Keith Richburg, Jr., (6-1, 175, JR) from Miami, FL., was selected SIAC Newcomer of the Week for his performance in the game with Kentucky State University on Saturday. Richburg had seven solo tackles, one for loss, and returned a 98-yard interception for a touchdown. He broke-up one pass in the 45-24 win.

David Thomas was an Honorable Mention Performer by completing 8-of-16 passes for 147 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for 49 yards and a touchdown.
