FAIRFIELD, AL – Miles men’s basketball team dropped their 15th game Thursday night to the Tigers of Benedict College (71-50) at Knox-Windham Gym.

Miles (1-15; 1-12) went to halftime down 22-30, while hitting 33.3% (19-of-57) from the floor, 34.8% (8-of-23) in 3-pointers and 66.7% (4-of-6) in free throws for the game. Benedict (8-5; 7-3) shot 59.3 % from the floor and 36.8% from 3-point land.

Junior point guard Rahim Barnes (Tuscaloosa, AL) led the Golden Bears with 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds and freshman forward Marcus Coleman (Memphis, TN) added 11 points.  

Kennie Eberhart led the Tigers with 22 points and Trevor Eichelberger had 8 rebounds.

The Golden Bears will play the Lions of Paine College on Saturday, January 23 at Knox-Windham Gym. Game time is scheduled for 7:30.
