FAIRFIELD, AL – Miles College Interim Director of Athletics Dr. Chico Caldwell has released the Golden Bears (11) game 2010 football schedule, which includes five games on campus at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium and one game in Birmingham, Alabama at Legion Field. The Golden Bears will open the season at home with Fort Valley State University on Saturday, August 29 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 5, Stillman College come to Birmingham, Alabama (Legion Field) for the 4th Annual Labor Day Golden Classic at 6 p.m. Week three, the Golden Bears travel 60 miles down the road to Selma, Alabama to play Concordia-Selma For the month of October, Miles hit the road for three-game, as they make their first trip to Jacksonville, Florida on October 2 to play Edward Waters College at 2 p.m. Week two, they go to Albany, Georgia to take on Albany State University on October 9 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, October 16, Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee at 1:30 p.m. The Golden Bears return home for a 1 p.m. homecoming game on October 23, as Benedict College comes to Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium. The Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University will round out the final road game on October 30 in Tuskegee, Alabama at 1 p.m. The regular-season concludes on the campus on Saturday, November 6 at 6 p.m. with Morehouse College.
