FAIRFIELD, AL –Darryl Corley, Jr., has been selected to participate in the 2009 HBCU Senior Bowl game. The game is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the capital city of Montgomery, Alabama at the Historical Cramton Bowl and will be broadcasted nationally by CBS College Sports.

The HBCU Senior Bowl is the nation’s only unique post-season football game that will showcase the nation’s top Division-IAA and Division II football talent. Teams will be representing the East and West, which are coached by two legendary coaches and their coaching staff.

Senior defensive lineman Darryl Corley, Jr. (6-4, 313) from Birmingham, Alabama (Midfield High School) finished the 2009 season for the Golden Bears with 34 tackles, two tackle-for-losses, and three quarterback hurries, two fumbles recovery and one forced fumble.
