Fairfield, AL – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2009 SIAC All-Conference Teams, with the Golden Bears having two players named.
Hill Ray

Junior defensive back Justin Hill (5-7, 170) from Phoenix City, AL (Central High School) was named to the 1st Team. Hill finished the season tied for 1st in team interceptions with five and fourth in tackles with 62, 1.5 tackle-for-losses, one fumble recovered and one forced fumble. Justin, capped off a good season in the SIAC as well, finishing 2nd in interceptions with five, 19th in tackles with 62 for a 5.6 average per game and 6th in passes defended with eight pass break-ups and five interceptions.

Also, named 2nd Team All-Conference was senior offensive lineman Tocarius Ray (6-5, 365) from Birmingham, AL. Ray helped the team rush for more than 1,149 yards and 1,453 yards in passing, while averaging 236.5 yards per game.
