Hill and Rodriquez named SIAC Players of the Week |

Fairfield, AL - After Miles big win on Saturday over Lane College, the Golden Bears had two players to be named SIAC Player of the Week. The Offensive Player of the Week is Carlton Hill (JR, QB, 6-3, 208) from Monticello, FL. Hill was responsible for five touchdowns and 300 yards of total offense in their season opener over Lane College. He rushed 20 times for 120 yards and three touchdowns and completed 11-of-16 passes for 180 yards and two more touchdowns.
Hill is also a nominee for the Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) National Player of the Week.
The Special Teams Player of the Week is Jon Rodriquez (JR, P/K, 5-10, 175) from Hueytown, AL. Rodriquez averaged 41.6 yards per kick on five punts with one inside the 20. |
