Columbus, GA – On Wednesday, April 22, the SIAC (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) announced the 2009 SIAC All Conference Softball Team’s and Miles College outfielder Teresa Erskine (5-5, JR) from Bessemer, Alabama (Jess Lanier High School) made 1st Team All Conference. Erskine hit .402 at the plate and stole 47-of-52 bases for the regular season. Pitcher Kayla Bowmaster (5-6, FR) from Oakman, Alabama (Oakman High School) was named to the 2nd Team, while winning 9-of-10 games with a 4.22 earned run average. Bowmaster struck out 57 batters during the regular season.
