Miles College Lady Bears defeat Allen University, 91-42

Fairfield, AL – Freshman guard Delicia White scored 19 points to lead the Lady Bears and two other players in double figures as they defeated Allen University, 91-42 at Knox-Windham Gymnasium.

Forward Sade Odutola scored 16 points and guard Charlesia Norman added another 11, while center Jessica Franklin grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds and 8 points. Toccara Charles scored another 9 points and Alicia Ware and Chanel Chase hit 8 and 7 points each. Ashley Orphey dished out 12 assist and had 7 steals.

The Lady Bears shot 44 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the foul line, while Allen University hit 26 percent of its shots and 52 percent from the free throw line. Miles grabbed a team-high 57 rebounds to Allen University 39.

Dolliw Fludd led the Lady Hornets with 13 points and Whitney Williams had a team-high 9 rebounds and 8 points.

Miles will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Thursday, December 4 to play Stillman College Tigers in a 5:30 game.
