Fairfield, AL – The Miles College Sports Hall of Fame held a dedication ceremony to dedicate the “WALL OF FAME” at Miles College Knox Windham Gymnasium on Sunday, July 20 from 3-5 p.m.

The organization was founded in 1977, by Thomas J. Knox, Edward W. Windham, Charles G. McGregor, Robert J. Fennoy and Arthur Wilkins. Their vision was to promote, perpetuate and motivate critical school and community services. To preserve the gallant deeds, talents, skills and fame of our sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of Miles College.

Their mission is to commit and utilize their embedded values to solicit funding and provide resources toward the glorification and advancement of Miles College. Since 1977, they have inducted 217 members of which 76 are deceased and 141 are living.

The organization meets each 3rd Thursday in the month at 6:00 p.m. at Bob Ashford’s Cafe.
