February 16, 2008 Birmingham, AL – Junior guard Leon McKinney scored 22 points to lead five players in double figures to as the Golden Bears out scored Kentucky State University 91-79 Saturday night at Fair-Park Arena in Birmingham.
Flawaan Flaggs pumped in 19 points and DeMario Williams hit 16 while grabbing three rebounds and blocking five shots. Larry Swain added 14 points and Gaelon Hayden hit 11 and had a team-high 9 rebounds. Kenny Jones had a double-double for Kentucky State with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Tony Johnson scored a team-high 17 points. |
