2006 Fairfield, AL – The Miles College Golden Bears defeated the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College in game one of a scheduled double-hitter 5-4 at Jessie Turner Field in Memphis, TN. The second game was called because of darkness and is scheduled to be resumed on Sunday, March 12. The Golden Bears improve to 11-3 overall and 4-0 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), while the Magicians drop to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in the SIAC.
