March 9, 2006 Fairfield, AL - Steven Kennedy was 3-of-6 with five RBI's and two doubles
to lead the Miles College Golden Bears (10-3; 3-0 SIAC) over Paine College
(7-17; 0-3 SIAC) in a non-conference game 16-11 at Willie Mays Park in
Fairfield, AL today.Heath Franks went 1-of-3 with four RBI's, as Kenneth McGaughy was 2-of-5
and three RBI's. Brandon Heard drove in 2 runs, while Stevie Roberson walked
three times and scored three times. Ryan Smith scored one run and drove in
another.
Stephen Glover (2-0) went 4.2 inns for the Golden Bears to pick-up the
win. Glover, gave up 4 run on 5 hits and one earned run. Coty Painter threw 2
inns with 4 strike-outs to get the save.
Terry Gordon led Paine College with 2 hits on 4 at bats and scored three
runs.
